McCarthy Cycles was established in 2015 by owner John McCarthy and has grown from strength to strength since.
His love of cycling started as a junior on the road racing scene in Co. Kerry.
His passion turned into a career working as a bicycle mechanic throughout Ireland, Uk, Australia and New Zealand.
Mechanically he has an incredible technical skill, often doing consultancy work for other shops. His product knowledge is second to none, so opening his own shop was just a natural evolution.
The shop has expanded over recent years and a dedicated team now work to help customers on their cycling journey.
